of the world's 1.9 billion children face unprecedented challenges due to poverty, exploitation and conflict. Eight-five million are engaged in hazardous work.

Global Child Forum fights for a sustainable world in which children's rights enjoy universal respect.

By identifying and discussing challenges and best practices, Global Child Forum seeks to uncover strategies to facilitate the successful implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Children's Rights and Business Principles by all actors in society, including the business community.

Global Child Forum organises regional and global forums where leaders from business, governments, academia and civil society meet to promote cross-sector partnerships and best practice sharing as a means to further children's rights.

The organisation has hosted a number of forums since 2009, including global events at the Royal Palace in Stockholm and South-east Asia and regional forums in the Middle East and North Africa and Southern Africa.

Lindéngruppen is a partner to Global Child Forum and a member of its advisory board.
